Double K Farms has long been a dream of mine

I have lived in many places. The one constant for me  has been a garden. I have learned that different places grow produce specific to their region. Soil, water, elevation, climate play crucial roles in making a garden grow. Southeast Idaho is ideal not just for potatoes but plenty of other crops as well.

"Green thumbs" appear to be genetic in my family. I remember visiting my grandma and helping in her garden. She had so many large veggies growing! I was so impressed. My dad designed a back yard "garden of Eden". We had apricot trees, pomegranate, orange, tangelo, grapefruit and a lemon tree. We grew strawberries, blackberries, watermelon and tomatoes.

At Double K Farms we use the best to grow the best.  Care and love is put into what we do. We want the best for our community.

Our Vision

I am dedicated to being able to provide fresh, locally grown produce to my community. I am also motivated to help others be able to buy plants or seeds they can trust to grow in their own gardens.

Upcoming Things To Do

Gardening 101

Watch the weather forecasts and as soon as we have some consistant night temps above freezing, you can think about planting!

Start mapping out what you want to plant and where you want to plant it so that you know exactly what you need and how much. This way you only have to make one trip to get everything you need, which will be a budget savor with the rising fuel costs!
